The research group LangSec (Language-Based Security) at KTH is recruiting a postdoc in software security. The selected candidate will contribute to ongoing research in the group with main focus on InferViz, a project on automated program analysis for security, funded by Facebook Research. The project is led by the following research team, spanning KTH and IMDEA Software:
InferViz aims at combining software engineering at scale with PL and formal methods to infer and visualize insecure code paths in applications. The goal of the project is to develop techniques and tool support for (1) inferring program-level dependencies from code; (2) checking security policies against these dependencies; and (3) helping developers to visualize insecure flows violating the policy. The opportunities for collaborations within academia and industry, as well as for influencing the direction of the work are very good.
