Job description

A research position in the area of random matrix theory and integrable systems is offered within the KTH mathematics department. The project will involve research of the topics mentioned above and will take place under the supervision of Dr. Jonatan Lenells. The project, which runs for a maximum of two years, could also involve the study of other topics consistent with the research interests of the supervisor.

Qualifications

A PhD degree in mathematics is a requirement. We seek a candidate with a strong background in one or some of the following areas: random matrix theory, statistical models, partial differential equations, integrable systems, complex analysis, Riemann-Hilbert problems, Riemann surfaces. The successful applicant should be strongly motivated, have the capability to work independently as well as in collaboration with members of the research group, and have good communication skills.
