Job description

1-2 postdoctoral positions are offered within the KTH mathematics department. The projects will take place under the supervision of Dr. Jonatan Lenells and/or Dr. Fredrik Viklund and may involve the study of integrable systems, probability, conformal field theory, conformal invariance, complex analysis, Riemann-Hilbert problems, nonlinear PDEs, boundary value problems, SLE theory, Gaussian Free Field, or other topics consistent with the research interests of the supervisors. Each project lasts for a maximum of two years. There are no teaching duties (but if the applicant wants teaching experience, teaching can be arranged).

Qualifications

A PhD degree, awarded within the last three years (or planned to be awarded before the commencement of the project) in mathematics is a requirement. We seek a candidate with a strong background in one or more of the areas mentioned in the job description.

The successful applicant should be strongly motivated, have the capability to work independently as well as in collaboration with members of the research group, and have good communication skills.
