Job description

The candidate will work in the EU project UHURA. The research concerns analysis of the transient turbulent flow around aircraft wings associated with deflection of the so-called Krueger flap. As a part of KTH’s involvement in the project, the candidate will contribute to development and implementation of a novel approach for accelerated unsteady hybrid RANS-LES computations for a correct representation of the important slow dynamics when simulating the rapid turbulence scales.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a doctoral education in numerical analysis applied to computational fluid mechanics and high performance computing and long-time experience in developing complex flow solvers.
