Job description

Femotosecond Laser 3D Micromachining for Next Generation Micro and Nanosystems
In this project we are developing femtosecond laser micromachining technologies, including femtosecond laser ablation and surface structuring for novel micro- and nanodevices, femtosecond laser-based 3D printing of micro and nanostructures made of different materials such as polymers, glass and hydrogels, and high-speed laser processing using spatial light modulators (SLMs). The project involves both theoretical and experimental tasks. The experimental work will be conducted in the KTH laser lab and the KTH micro and nano fabrication cleanroom in Stockholm (Kista). The project engages several doctoral students at the Department of Micro and Nanosystems and is conducted in close cooperation with high-profile industrial partners and other research groups from inside and outside of KTH.

KTH offers an attractive working environment and generous remuneration in form of scholarship. As a postdoctoral scholar you have many opportunities to participate at conferences, projects and other relevant events which will extend your professional network and benefit your future career.
