Job description

As a research engineer, you will work in a team within two research projects, Digilog and Unilog. Our lab environment (a logistics test bed and pedal car factory) will be mirrored in a virtual environment currently under construction. The goal is to develop an educational and research environment that allows participants to meet new design and logistics solutions for security, efficiency, and more. Your task will be to support this work and to take care of the digital development environment. You will do this in an independent and collegial manner in direct cooperation with staff and doctoral students at the institution. The work includes supporting and implementing concrete simulation work, and helping with demonstration activities.

In addition, you will develop course materials and modules that will be provided to students at the master's level in the areas: digitalization and automation in logistics (including cyber-physical systems), supply chain (SC), simulation and optimization of supply chain (SC) and SCRM. For these activities, we intend to digitalize the existing analog experimental learning environment in order to offer the course modules in a distributed environment. The work may also include leading teams of students and recently graduated, a work format that we will develop in the coming years.
