Post-doc on Perovskite Materials in Applied Physical Chemistry - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Job description

The post-doctoral researcher will synthesize organic metal halide perovskites of dimensions between 2 and 3 as single crystals, thin films, and as powders. The researcher will assist in characterizing these materials through X-ray diffraction, time resolved photoluminescence, and electronic methods such as preparing solar cells based on said perovskites. Lastly, the researcher will assist in mentoring masters and PhD students.

Qualifications

A successful applicant will have a published track record in academic journals on quantum-dots, organic metal halide perovskites, or DSSC. A successful applicant will have previous experience making and testing solar cells.

Applicants with prior personal experience with layered or 2D organic metal halide perovskites will be prioritized.

Applicants with prior experience on solar energy research during their PhD will be prioritized. Applicants with prior experience in synthesis, time resolved spectroscopy, and/or X-ray diffraction will be prioritized.

A successful applicant will have PhD, not older than three years, in Chemistry, Physics, or field related to solar energy materials.
