Job description

The research engineer will work in a cross-disciplinary project aiming at the development of new methods for biomarker detection for lung cancer diagnostics. The work involves production, purification, bioconjugation, and analysis of recombinant proteins. The work may also involve selection of new affinity proteins from phage libraries, and analysis of molecular interactions using biosensor technologies.

Qualifications

BSc or MSc degree in biotechnology or a related subject.

Experience of methods for purification and analysis of biomolecules, such as HPLC and mass spectrometry.

Experience of cloning and expression of recombinant proteins.

Experience of bioconjugation techniques.

Experience of SPR-based biosensor technologies.
