Job description
Your work will be 50% devoted to general technical support for the Nanolab, a KTH joint facility used by some 60 PhD students and postdocs. You will develop special competence with some techniques and be responsible for advanced research equipment, sometimes through active hands-on service and repair. You will also be responsible for training Nanolab users on the equipment. The other 50% of your job will be devoted to a specific research project, which, under the next several years will be fabrication of sensors for quantum-limited measurement with scanning probe microscopy. In this project you will work with nanofabrication of electro-mechanical sensors using superconducting and piezoelectric materials, to be used for microwave measurement of very small mechanical forces.

Qualifications
The candidate should have a Master’s degree or Master of Science in Engineering in Technical Physics or a related subject. It is also a merit to have a PhD in a related field.
