Third-cycle subject: Information and Communication Technology
The doctoral student position focuses on the combination of programming/modeling languages, compilers, and machine learning. In particular, the emphasis is on the design and development of self-learning model compilers for efficient execution, including compilation to heterogeneous target platforms (both for offline computations in clusters and online for real-time systems). Applied machine learning, compilation, programming language semantics, and combinatorial optimization are central themes. The doctoral student is employed at KTH Kista, at the division of Software and Computer Systems at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). The PhD student will be part of the Model-Based Computing Systems (MCS) research group and will be supervised by Associate Professor David Broman. In addition to research studies, the student is expected to take part in departmental duties, such as teaching, up to 20% of the working time.
