Job description

We announce an 18-months Postdoc position for research in the areas of Behavioral economics and/or Organizational behavior at the Department of Industrial Economics and Management.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to a research project funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond, Forte, Formas and the Swedish Science Council, which addresses performance-based governance of universities. In particular, the candidate is expected to contribute to on-going study of how university faculty relate to such governance.

The candidate is also expected to engage in research of her or his choosing, and to teach 20 % of full time.

Qualifications

We seek a candidate with experience of using experimentally oriented research methods to investigate individuals’ preferences.

You are expected to hold a doctoral degree in Economics, Management, Industrial economics, Sociology, Psychology, Economic Psychology or similar research area in September 2016 or thereafter. We also welcome candidates who are expected to graduate in any of these areas no later than September 30th, 2019.

We value experience with studying working professionals, but do not consider this a requirement. We do furthermore value documented experience and interest in one or several of the research fields represented at the Department of Industrial Economics and Management.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
