Project description
Third-cycle subject: Biotechnology
The research activity for the PhD student will mainly focus on the study of how spatial gene expression is regulated in key plant processes. This work will involve data generation using cutting-edge techniques, such Spatial Transcriptomics, and computational analysis. Within the framework of this project, we will engage researchers in Europe to benefit from this unique project.
To this end, we are looking for a doctoral student who has a hybrid background in experimental in situ techniques used to study nucleic acids in tissues at transcriptome/genome level, and computational knowledge of Unix and R.
The PhD student will be based at the KTH Department of Gene Technology at SciLifeLab (Science for Life Laboratory) Stockholm.
