Researcher in Targeted Proteomics - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Job description

The researcher will be involved in work related to the Blood Atlas which is a sub atlas of the Human Protein Atlas project with focus on characterizing actively secreted proteins present in human blood. The researcher will directly participate in the process of establishing a workflow for whole blood targeted proteomics analysis focusing on dried-blood-spots using stable isotope labeled standards. A combination of chromatographic separation techniques combined with targeted mass spectrometry will be used as read-out.

Qualifications

The candidate should demonstrate experience in the development of mass spectrometry assays using internal standards.

The candidate should have experience of scientific and administrative management of projects involving human subjects, including statistical knowledge of handling longitudinal data (collected over time).

The candidate should have experience of working with mass spectrometry, either within the field of proteomics or metabolomics.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills in scientific English, both oral and written.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Biotechnology or related topics.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
