The Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering (SEED) conducts research and education focused on the sustainable development of society. SEED gathers a broad range of interdisciplinary expertise to conduct research that covers a wide field within environmental, engineering and sustainability issues.

Job description

You will work in the Division of Strategic Sustainability Studies and participate in the VINNOVA-funded project "Circular deals: an international analysis of how agreements and certificates can increase the use of secondary resources." Your main tasks will consist in:

  • Mapping the market, policies and agreements between waste producers and users
  • Organize and participate in workshops between waste producers and users
  • Present the result in a communicative scientific report

Qualifications

Of highest importance is that the applicant has:

  • a university degree in sustainable development, technology or environmental science
  • experiences in interviewing or other types of qualitative environmental research methods
  • experiences of project work and the ability to present result written and orally.

It is also important that the applicant has

  • ability to cooperate with industry and authorities
  • knowledge about the waste sector
  • good command in Swedish

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability
