Job description

A postdoc in algebraic and geometric combinatorics,to work in the group of Karim Adiprasito for one year at KTH Stockholm, with the possibility to extend to a second year in Copenhagen. Your task is to do research on the connection between algebraic geometry and geometric topology and discrete mathematics, and publish in international refereed journals. A close understanding of the standard conjectures from a discrete perspective is the desired final goal. The position carries no teaching responsibility.

Qualifications

As a person, you are motivated to work with your colleagues, and jointly seek solutions to scientific issues. Strong background in research of algebraic geometry, combinatorics and/or geometric topology. You should be strong enough to work independently.

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.

About the employment
