The Division of Robotics, Perception, and Learning (RPL, https://www.kth.se/rpl/) performs research in robotics, computer vision and machine learning. Some of the current and finished projects at RPL include SSF FACT (https://factssf.se), or RobDREAM (http://robdream.eu).

Job description

The division of Robotics, Perception, and Learning is looking for a postdoc in robotics and/or machine learning and/or computer vision. The successful candidate(s) are expected to conduct research at the highest international level and co-supervise doctoral and master students.

This is a two-year position. The starting date is open for discussion.

Qualifications

We are looking for applicants with a strong academic background. Applicants must hold or be about to receive a doctoral degree in robotics/machine learning/computer vision. The applicant should have an outstanding research and publication record. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills are a requirement. We are looking for a strongly motivated person, who is able to work independently as well as in a team. Good command of English orally and in writing is required to present and publish research results. 

Requirements

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
