Job description

The division of Robotics, Perception, and Learning is looking for a postdoc in robotics and/or machine learning and/or computer vision. The successful candidate(s) are expected to conduct research at the highest international level and co-supervise doctoral and master students.

This is a two-year position. The starting date is open for discussion.

Qualifications

We are looking for applicants with a strong academic background. Applicants must hold or be about to receive a doctoral degree in robotics/machine learning/computer vision. The applicant should have an outstanding research and publication record. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills are a requirement. We are looking for a strongly motivated person, who is able to work independently as well as in a team. Good command of English orally and in writing is required to present and publish research results. 

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.

About the employment

A position as a postdoctoral fellow is a time-limited qualified appointment focusing mainly on research, intended as a first career step after a dissertation.
