Job description

Research in algebraic and probabilistic combinatorics in collaboration with Svante Linusson and other combinatorialists at the department. Teaching corresponding to at most 20% of fulltime.

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.

Preferred qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a doctoral education (completed in the last three years or to be completed before the commencement of the position). Candidates cannot have their PhD degree from KTH. We seek a candidate with a strong background in algebraic or probabilistic combinatorics. The most important criteria is the scientific skills of the applicant, but personal competence and suitability is also important. The successful applicant should be strongly motivated, have the capability to work independently as well as in collaboration with members of the division, and have good communication skills.

Teaching ability is also an assessment criteria. The applicant is assumed to have an awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues in particular gender equality.

No skills in Swedish are required.
