Job description

We are recruiting a researcher for software development and project management. The advertised position concerns the development and maintenance of frameworks for interactive supercomputers.

The work to be developed is motivated by and within the framework of the Visual Exploration and Sampling Toolkit for Extreme Computing (VESTEC, https://vestec-project.eu/).

Qualifications

The doctoral degree is required for admission. A suitable doctoral degree is Computer Science or Computational Physics. The applicant needs to have experience of collaborating in research projects.

Applicants need an excellent academic track record, well-developed analytical skills, and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who can work independently. Good knowledge of English in speech and writing is necessary to publish and present research results in international conferences and journals.

Experience of C, as well as C ++ and Fortran programming languages is necessary.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
