Job description

The Chemical Sensing Group is one of the largest groups at KTH, with approximately 20 researchers. We develop fundamental electrochemical and optical concepts to be integrated into "chemical sensors" aiming to solve currant problems in healthcare, environment, wellness and food, among ohters. The objective of these two postdoctoral positions is to strengthen the Biosensing line. Included in the work tasks are:

- Development of biosensors for different biomarkers.

- Responsibility for the on-body tests and pilot tests of the manufactured chemical patches.

Qualifications

Requirements

• A doctoral degree in analytical chemistry or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.
• Experience of manufacturing wearable chemical sensors
• Experience in physiology
• Good cooperation skills
• Good communication skills

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.

Preferred qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in biosensors with high impact factor journals.
• Scientific skills
• Excellent oral communication
• Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality

About the employment

The position offered is for, at the most, two years.
