Subject description
The subject field refers to process technology for the manufacture of integrated circuits. The topic includes the development of semiconductor processes and integration schemes for integrated circuits with enhanced functionality and improved performance. Specifically, the integration, at chip level, of electronics with non-traditional materials or components for new applications of integrated circuits.
Duties
The teaching, which comprises a total of 50 % of the employment, also includes supervision of degree projects. The focus of teaching is in electronics, semiconductor components and semiconductor manufacturing at the Department of Electrical Engineering. The position also includes research in the subject area, including the application for external funding and supervision of doctoral students. In addition, management and administrative tasks within the department and department may be added. The associate professor is expected to be able to teach in Swedish within three years. If needed a plan for language training will be set at the time of hire.
