Job description

The project is about processing of protein materials, more specifically gluten plastics. Focus is on plastic processing, but involves also material characterization. You will belong to the division of Polymeric Materials, where we work broadly on both bio-based and petroleum-based polymeric materials, with access to a large instrumental park.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.
  • You should have proven experience and knowledge on polymeric materials, which include polymer processing, long-term properties and mechanical properties.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in injection moulding is a merit. You possess scientific skills. Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality is a merit.

We are looking for a person with good co-operative ability and who can also work independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
