Job description

We are looking for a person to support the activities of the group of Cell Technology (Dept. Industrial Biotechnology/Bioprocess Design), School School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Health (CBH), KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. The position is on part-time (50%).

The group activities are focused on bio-processing of mammalian/human cell culture for the production of therapeutic proteins and products, performed in clean room under strict sterile/aseptic conditions. The work involves routine support of the lab activities, e.g. cleaning of the clean room according to checklist/guidelines, dish, autoclaving, support for assembly of small glass ware and bioreactors etc. Additional supporting tasks, e.g. buffer preparation, cell passaging, can also be part of the job when needed. The practical work will be performed at KTH, AlbaNova Centre, Roslagstullsbacken 21, 10691 Stockholm.

The group of Cell Technology has a strong experience in the development of biopharmaceutical drug bioprocesses for human therapy.

Qualifications

We would like the candidate to having started a post-secondary education, or graduated with a Bacherlor's degree, within biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry, cell cultivation, biomedicine, or a similair field. It is preferred if the candidate has experience in working with cell cultivation and/or having worked in cleanrooms.
