Job description
Software Development Academy is a project in cooperation with the industry and is financed by the European Social Fund and Marcus & Marianne Wallenberg Fund. The project aims toward newly arrived academics and offers the participants an educational programme for 15 weeks in software development. Through datadriven feedback and monitoring the participants are given unique opportunity to progress and re-skill themselves. The project is agile and aims towards developing the life long learning and re-skilling education at KTH.
The project is growing, entering a new phase, and needs a Research Engineer to complete the team. As a member of the team you will have a part in developing the course modules and take responsibility in executing them with supervision from faculty. Qualified analysis of different parts of the project and follow up on activities and goals is also a part of your role. Various project administration, reports and debriefing is also occurring, together with supporting other team members. You will also coach and mentor the participants.
The teamwork is agile and you are expected to contribute with your knowledge and skills where it’s needed.
Qualifications
Academic degree in IT/Computer Science (including machine learning), preferably development of programming languages or equivalent. Documented pedagogical skills including developing platforms. Experience in designing courses for life long learning.
Meritorious
Experience of working in EU projects. Working with pedagogy on digital platforms and designing Courses.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
