Job description

We are looking for a scientific coordinator to coordinate, administer, report activities within the research group (www.spatialresearch.org) and between international partners. An important part is to be responsible for coordination and dissemination of the progress that is being made within Human Developmental Cell Atlas Sweden (HDCA) at SciLifeLab (https://hdca-sweden.scilifelab.se/). The goal of the advertised position, within the framework of HDCA, is in addition to coordination, to engage Swedish researchers who have expertise in heart, lung and brain or pathogenesis of these organs. In sumary, project coordination, interdisciplinary networking and outreach are central components of the service.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.

Preferred qualifications

We are looking for a candidate (PhD degree) with experience in molecular analysis in tissue and cells. Applicants should have experience in spatial analysis of gene expression patterns in tissue sections and / or gene expression patterns in single cells (eg single cell RNAseq). We are looking for candidates with excellence in English both orally and in writing Furthermore, we would like you to show:

•          competence in the subject matter
•          competence in the field of industry
•          Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on                   gender equality.
•          Teamwork
•          Independence.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.

About the employment

Temporary employment for up to 12 months with possibility for an additional extension of 12 months (in total 2 years).
