The UrbanT team is doing research on how residents can be engaged in environmental matters thorough digital technology. For the ongoing EU InteGrid project, a local social network providing electricity feedback to the residents of KTH Live-In Lab needs to be evaluated as a potential cost-effective solution that utilizes so-called behavioural demand response to increase engagement in and behaviour connected to electricity consumption.
The position is full-time and temporary up to 2 months.
The position is expected to help the UrbanT team to plan, execute and evaluate the local social network as an engagement solution. This includes designing and executing surveys to measure e.g. changes in electricity consumption attitudes, planning how different experiments with so-called pause hours can be made (including planning and executing events), study the consumption data to find changes in consumption due to the held pause hours and activities. The responsibilities will in addition support project and stakeholder management via reports, meetings, and deliverables that need to be carefully planned and executed on time and with content of the highest possible quality.

Requirements
A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.
For the position you need a M.Sc. degree in energy technology, environmental studies or in an equivalent area. An education in behavioural sciences or similar is a plus but no requirement. As you will help us out with writing deliverables, you need to have excellent English writing skills. Experience of writing scientific papers and reports are a merit. Furthermore, you will communicate with project stakeholders and research subjects and thus need to have good oral communication skills. If you have previous experience of making interviews it is a plus. You should be confident in holding events and engaging people. It is a merit to have data analysis skills, knowledge in statistical methods, and know data analysis tools such as Python, R, Excel or databases. As a person, you are independent with the ability to prioritize, organize and plan tasks based on changed circumstances. You enjoy working together and maintaining good relations with both internal and external actors.
Experience in managing and reporting complex EU-projects with numerous stakeholders and deliverables is a merit for this position.
