Job description

The employment as post-doc will be focussed on the formulation of novel electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries, including subsequent characterization and application in battery systems. The work will both be performed independently and as part of a research team. The research will be performed in an active multi-disciplinary scientific environment at KTH in close collaboration with Uppsala University and the institute RISE.

Qualifications

Requirements

A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in inorganic or physical chemistry is an absolute requirement. The degree must have been obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline. Previously proven experience from experimental work with solution chemistry concerning speciation and physical properties, in particular related to application in electrochemical systems, such as batteries, fuel cells or solar cells, will be of merit. Also documented experience from work with ionic liquids will be regarded as a merit.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
