Job description

We are looking for a new team member with expert competence in super-resolution microscopy to join the cellular biophysics research group and the ALM facility at Science for Life Laboratory. You will be responsible for our PALM and STORM microscopes and give users of the infrastructure expert support also within SIM and other microscopy techniques.

You must have good knowledge of cell biological applications of super-resolution, including laboratory work related to sample preparation, and image analysis. You are careful, not afraid to take responsibility, and you appreciate working in an area of rapid technological development. You have a strong desire to further develop applications of super-resolution microscopy and have a great interest in finding new solutions to problems in both microscopy and cell biology.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree
  • Documented experience from super-resolution microscopy and user support in a research infrastructure
