The research group in high voltage engineering at KTH is offering a Postdoctor position dealing with development of on-line diagnostic of reactor- and transformer bushings. The work within the research group focus on condition-based maintenance of high voltage equipment in the electric power grid. You will during this employment work with development of experimental methods that can be used for on-line condition assessment of high voltage bushings and related the achieved results to different transient situations in the grid. The work is to a large extent experimental and experience of experiments with high voltage connected to dielectric response and partial discharges is of great importance in order to be able to perform the project.
The work will be performed at the Division of Electromagnetic Engineering at KTH in Stockholm.
