Third-cycle subject: Business studies
We are looking for a doctoral student who will work with service design with a focus on financial services to consumers. Financial advice is a service area that is currently migrating from human meetings between consumers and banks' experts to robotic advisers designed to reflect a human expert but also to promote service sales and long-term development of the customer's business. At the same time, robot advice is, in the same way as its physical predecessor, clearly regulated and the conditions for the development of services are defined on the basis of different types of requirements: legal, financial and user-related.
The doctoral position is financed full-time for two years until the licentiate degree and no departmental service is included.
Supervision: The doctoral student will be supervised by Associate Professor Inga-Lill Söderberg
The supervision group also includes, depending on individual needs, the competencies needed to support the doctoral student's development.

The project is interdisciplinary and we encourage applicants with a basic education in business studies with a focus on financial services to consumers but also applicants with an education in media technology or computer science with a focus on interaction design and / or human-computer interaction or cognitive science, communication science or linguistics.
After the qualification requirements, great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
Target degree: Licentiate degree
Only those admitted to postgraduate education may be employed as a doctoral student. The total length of employment may not be longer than what corresponds to full-time doctoral education in four years ' time. An employed doctoral student can, to a limited extent (maximum 20%), perform certain tasks within their role, e.g. training and administration. A new position as a doctoral student is for a maximum of one year, and then the employment may be renewed for a maximum of two years at a time.
