Job description

You will be part of a dynamic and multicultural research environment at the Division’s Environmental Humanities Laboratory (KTH EHL) where historical studies are seamlessly integrated with studies with a more present-day focus.

The position includes the following tasks:

  • Management of the EHL’s databases, in particular the ongoing Map of the Other Worlds, which will be produced through the Formas project Occupy Climate Change!
  • Work with different databases providing materials for the research conducted at the EHL
  • Editing support (text formatting, proofreading)
  • Managing the EHL’s and related projects’ communication channels, including social media and websites

The position also includes the administration and organization of events, meetings etc. as well as other administrative tasks connected to the research projects at the EHL.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in environmental history, political ecology, environmental science or related field.

  • Excellent English skills.

Preferred qualifications

It is commendable if you have experience in the digital humanities, as well as experience of working in an international research environment. You should also have awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with a specific focus on gender equality.

About the employment
