Job description

Do you want to help us to develop new, groundbreaking tools and technologies for AI-driven character animation? We are a research team that has won several awards, with our latest work published at Eurographics and SIGGRAPH Asia. We are now looking for two great research engineers with high ambitions and strong backgrounds in software development, machine learning and computer graphics. You will help take our next-generation animation technology, MoGlow, and integrate it into major game engines and animation software. The work will be in collaboration with world-leading computer-games companies.

  • Build and deploy machine-learning models for character animation
  • Create 3D-animation authoring tools for integration with Unreal, Unity or Maya
  • Design and build new interaction interfaces
  • Collaborate with both animators and machine-learning experts

Qualifications

Requirements

A graduate or advanced degree (higher education) in the research subject, or equivalent competence.

  • Software engineer with strong skills in C++/C# and Python
  • 2+ years of working experience, preferably in the 3D industry with AAA game development
  • Strong skills in Unreal and/or Unity
  • Experience with deep learning, especially with deployment and integration
  • Excellent communicator in both written and spoken English, including technical documentation

Preferred qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a creative mindset
  • Passion for animation and motion capture
  • Good ability to collaborate in a team
  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
