Job description

The group of Nanostructure Physics at the Department of Applied Physics at KTH-Albanova conducts research on new magnetic materials and nanodevices for applications in nanoelectronics. The work tasks to be performed are fabrication magnetic nanomaterials and nanodevices as well as magnetic, magneto-electronic, and magneto-caloric measurements.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in Physics.

Preferred qualifications

  • Research expertise
  • Teaching ability.
  • The ability to work towards research results being utilised in practice.
  • The ability to inform about research and development work
  • Experience of developing and leading activities and staff.
  • Knowledge of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality 
  • Collaborative abilities.
  • Independence.
  • Strong merits are knowledge and skills within magnetic materials and nanofabrication, magnetism, magneto-electrical, magneto-optical and  magneto-caloric measurements, strong research publication record.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.

About the employment
