Job description

We seek a driven and knowledgeable postdoc to carry out method development in organisc synthesis in the research group of Assistant Professor Helena Lundberg at the Department of Chemistry. Specifically, you will be working with catalysis, electrosynthesis and kinetics in research areas of both fundamental and applied character. Administrative tasks and supervision of students are also important aspects of the work.

Qualifications

Requirements

To be eligible for the position the following is required:

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline (With some exceptions for special reasons such as periods of sick or parental leave, kindly indicate if such reason exists in your resume).
  • Documented ability to work independently as well as collaborative in a group.
  • Documented scientific skills in method development for organometallic catalysis.
  • Documented scientific skills in kinetics.
  • Documented pedagogical skills and experience of supervising students on Bachelor and Master level.
  • The ability to skillfully communicate in English, verbally and in writing, as this is required in the daily work.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience of ordering goods in accordance with public procurement procedures
  • Experience in academic administration
  • Awareness of diversity and equal treatment policies and practices

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency

About the employment
