Job description

The Chemical Sensing Group is one of the largest group at KTH, with approximately 20 researchers. We develop fundamental electrochemical and optical concepts to be integrated into ‘chemical sensors’ aiming to solve current problems in healthcare, environment, wellness, food among others. The objective of these two postdoctoral positions is to strength the Electrochemical Wearable Sensing research line.

This positions include the follwing work tasks:

- Development of nanoimpacts based with scanning electrochemical microscopy.

- Management of national and international  EU-projects.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline (With some exceptions for special reasons such as periods of sick or parental leave, kindly indicate if such reason exists in your resume).
  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Electrochemistry or Chemical Sensing.
  • Experience in scanning electrochemical microscopy
  • Experience in electrochemical nanoimpacts
  • Experience in modelling electrochemical process

Preferred qualifications

  • Proven experience working with scanning electrochemical microscopy, electrochemical nanoimpacts and modelling electrochemical process. In cover letter, specify which articles correspond to the requested experience.
  • Team player
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Good experience in writing scientific papers
  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality.

About the employment
