School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KTH

Job description

Power electronic converters have been increasingly penetrated into power systems, ranging from the renewable energy generations, flexible ac power transmission, high/medium voltage direct current transmission, to active distributions and consumptions, such as energy storages, data centers and electric vehicles. The electronization of power systems increases the coupling strength among multi-timescale control units and electric components, which brings challenges to the efficient dynamic studies of largescale power systems.

The goal of this postdoc position is to develop analytical approaches to the dynamical representations and assessment for electronic power systems, which include:

  • Black-box based small-signal modeling and analysis of large-scale power systems
  • Dynamical modeling and analysis approaches under large-signal disturbances

What we offer

  • A position at a leading technical university that generates knowledge and skills for a sustainable future.
  • Engaged and ambitious colleagues along with a creative, international and dynamic working environment
  • Work in Stockholm , in close proximity to nature
  • Help to relocate and be settled in Sweden and at KTH
