Job description

You will work with supporting teachers and researchers in current academic developments in architecture with a focus on digital design. In your work duties are included applications of, and technical advice concerning applications of, advanced digital tools for representation, fabrication and production of architecture. Participation in planning projects, as well as feed-back, documentation and analysis during projects, are also included. The employment is a project employment at 30% of full time, 6 months. The working language is mainly English.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in architecture, design or spatial practice.

Knowledge and skills that are meritorious for the position

  • Knowledge on architecture with a focus on digital design
  • Experience of architectural education and design project courses
  • Knowledge about critical and aesthetic applications of digital technologies in architecture
  • Experience of applications and experimental uses of digital technologies for representation, design and production of architecture. Technologies such as 3D-modelling, photogrammetry and/or lidar scanning, animation / video-production
  • Advisory skills
  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality
  • Collaborative abilities
  • Independence

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.

About the employment
