Job description

You will work mainly in research projects, focusing on new possibilities for co-operation between design and production of optimized material structures through robotic processes for deposition or 3D printing of concrete. Teaching at the advanced levels, as well as co-supervising PhD students, may be part of the duties up to maximum 20 % of full time.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree in architecture focusing on robotic processes for deposition of concrete, or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline (With some exceptions for special reasons such as periods of sick or parental leave, kindly indicate if such reason exists in your resume).
  • An advanced level degree in architecture, or an equivalent foreign degree.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience of earlier research in the area of 3D printing of concrete.

  • Ability to apply for and receive external research grants in the research field.

  • Research expertise in combination with independence and collaborative abilities.

  • Teaching ability, and some earlier experience in managing operations and personnel.

  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues with specific focus on gender equality.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.

About the employment
