Job description

The project concerns studies of the electrochemical molten carbonate fuel cell/electrolysis cell (MCFC / MCEC). Due to its special chemistry, this type of high-temperature cell has the ability to separate carbon dioxide from gas streams. The purpose of the project is to develop knowledge and understanding of the processes that take place in the cell during operation through both experimental work and theoretical studies. In particular, the impact on cell performance, of gas compositions typical of the raw gas from biomass gasification, will be studied.

Qualifications

Requirements

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
• Documented experience of experimental work with molten carbonate fuel cells.
• Research expertise.
• Good communication skills of the English language in both its written and spoken forms since it's required during daily work.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good collaborative abilities. 

Preferred qualifications

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
• It's commendable if you have teaching abilities.
• Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality is commendable.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.

About the employment
