The position entails modeling of nuclear materials with chemical and magnetic complexity. The work will be performed with support from the Swedish Science council and will tie into the SUNRISE centre, which is coordinated by the division of Nuclear Engineering at KTH. Specifically, the work will be focused on developing models for properties of nuclear materials with the use of electronic structure calculations and multi-scale modeling. You will be connected to WP2 of SUNRISE which works with advanced steel studies and with WP4 which works with fuel development and characterization. You will be working with Professor Pär Olsson, several other post-docs, PhD students and MSc diploma students at the division, as well as senior researchers in an international network.
