Job description

As research engineer, you will be part of the Division of Lighting Design at the department of
Architecture, and work closely with the architectural lighting design team. The position includes coordination and administration of projects, courses and equipment related to architectural lighting design research and application. The tasks consists of helping with the planning and management of design research projects, as well as developing course and outreach activities within KTH and the wider community. In your role, you will specifically assist with the coordination and management of existing grant funded architectural and urban lighting design research projects and support the communication and collaboration of all project partners. You will also work on various development tasks within the lighting design division related to integrating lighting design and architecual research and education.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.
  • Master's degree related to lighting design or architecture
  • Previous knowledge in the subject area and profession of architectural lighting

Preferred qualifications

  • PhD related to lighting design, lighting or architecture
  • Experience in lighting design, lighting technology, electrical equipment or research related to the
    field.
