Job description

The work includes the elaboration of a module for simulation in BELLA of residual heat removal using dip-coolers in a lead-cooled research reactor. The task is conducted within the frame of work package 1 of the SUNRISE project. In addition, some administration for the SUNRISE project is part of the job.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in engineering physics or energy engineering.

Preferred qualifications

  • It is of merit if you have completed a Master of Science thesis on modelling of the secondary side of lead-cooled reactors during transients.
  • Great emphasis will be placed on personal competences, such as ability to document your work and to cooperate within a project group. In the same time, the applicant would have shown ability to be able to work independently. You are also expected to be aware of diversity and equality issues, with particular emphasis on gender equality.
