Job description

The postdoc position is within the division of Nanobiotechnology at Department of Protein Science. In the position you will be coordinate a collaboration between KTH, Karolinska Institute and Linköping University. The successful candidate will join the team, a collaboration between KTH, Karolinska Institute, and Linköping University to develop a novel class of biohybrid sensors.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree within Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Material Science, or other relevant areas of biomedical science. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
  • You have shown scientific excellence with at least 5 peer-review publications

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience with high-resolution 3D printing and understanding of pancreatic islets, transplantation, and vascularization will be important merits.
  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
  • As a person you have excellent collaborative abilities but can also work independently.

It's commendable if you have great teaching abilities, excellent research expertise and awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
