Job description

The Quantum Nano Photonics group at KTH is inviting applications for a research engineer position in the field of quantum technology. You will work in an international team to develop quantum technologies operating at the single photon level including quantum microscopy and quantum neuromorphic devices. You will be involved in European and international projects and will collaborate with leading research groups. The work will include nanofabrication, optical measurements and data analysis.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.
  • Experience with photon capture devices.
  • Experience with nanofabrication.
  • Experience with neuromorphic computation schemes.
  • Training in material science including chemistry.
  • Collaborative abilities.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience with tech startup environments.
  • Independence.
  • International experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality
