Job description

At KTH Climate Action Centre, we work to accelerate climate action in Sweden and internationally. We are now expanding our team, and are looking for you to help build up the activities of the Centre. You will have a coordinating and executing role, and work on implementing the various activities that the centre has.

Examples of tasks include coordinating workshops for researchers and external organisations and working on both the content and practical elements of our external seminars. You will take care of selected research-related activities on issues related to sustainable climate mitigation and adaptation. You will also give some support and coordination in writing research proposals.

During the year, the Centre will develop both research and collaborative projects with partners in Sweden and internationally. As the climate issue is of interest to all groups in society, we also place great emphasis on communicating our activities. We want you, like us, to be passionate about making a difference in the climate issue and contributing research-based knowledge.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in a research subject relevant to sustainability, climate change mitigation and adaptation, or equivalent competence.
  • The ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, as this will be required in day-to-day work.

Preferred qualifications

  • You are passionate and knowledgeable on themes related to sustainable climate mitigation and adaptation.
  • We want you to be a good organizer and an independent person, and we would like you to have experience in managing projects with several partners involved.
  • You are self-driven and solution-oriented
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in communication work
  • Collaborative abilities
  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with a specific focus on gender equality

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.

About the employment
