As a researcher, you will participate in the development and implementation of projects in the area of production management for sustainability, at the Department of Production Engineering, at KTH Södertälje. More specifically, work is included in projects with a special focus on industrialization and upscaling of new products, as well as in development and operation of circular and sustainable production systems. The production management perspective is important, both operative and strategic. You will participate in projects such as the new research project "Green design", participate in collaborative projects with industrial partners and other research groups, and disseminate research through research publications, conferences, seminars, digital media, industrial workshops, etc. You will also participate in gathering and communicating research results and new knowledge for industrial application. Generally, you will also contribute to the development of the department and the research group within Production Management, contribute to KTH’s Industrial Transformation platform and be active in teaching on bachelor level, advanced level and to some extent within production-related courses for industry representatives

Requirements
You must have completed a doctorate degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a doctorate degree that relates to industrial engineering, production management or another relevant discipline within sustainable industrialization and production development. You must also have experience from industrial collaboration and the ability to interact with and present to various stakeholders such as industrial partners, students, other researchers and authorities.
Preferred qualifications
It is preferable if you have experience in course development and teaching, or other previous special merits in education and research. It is also advantageous to have experience from international work and different cultures. We would also like to see that you have experience from work with applications, have an ability to work to ensure that research results are useful and have an ability to inform about research and development work. It is also advantageous to have leadership skills and knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues, with specific focus on gender equality.
As a person, you are positive and result-oriented with the ability to adapt to new conditions. You also have the ability to work independently and enjoy working in an international team and delivering according to set goals.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
