The Department of Mathematics at KTH offers an attractive two-year post-doctoral position supervised by S. Di Rocco in the field of Algebraic Geometry.
The department of mathematics at KTH offers many opportunities for collaboration and advancement and has a broad spectrum of research groups within the field, from more theoretical Algebraic Geometry to applications to data-analysis.
Financing for this position comes from the Knut och Alice Wallenberg foundation and carries a teaching load of about 20% of the employment.
The post-doctoral position aims at conducting research in mathematics related to Algebraic Geometry and related applications, like data analysis. The successful candidate is expected to independently conduct research, collaborate with the research group and to actively engage in the department activities, attending and organizing seminars, being involved in inviting and hosting guests.

Requirements
Preferred qualifications
We seek a candidate with a strong background in parts of mathematics relevant to Algebraic Geometry and open to explore the foundational aspects of certain applications within Data Analysis.
The successful applicant should be strongly motivated, have the capability to work independently as well as in collaboration with members of the research group, and have good communication skills.
No skills in Swedish are required.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
