Real Estate Planning and Land Law with specialization in Property Division and Property Rights Systems
The subject field includes the design of properties and property systems as well as related land use and building structures. The subject's focus relates to Swedish society's demands for rational and appropriately designed real estate and other land-based rights systems, as well as methods for changing the property classification and rights systems. This includes theories concerning society's needs and demands for rational and appropriately designed real estate and other land-related rights systems, as well as effective methods for changing property divisions and rights. Questions relating to property registration and property information are also included.
The position includes research and teaching in the subject field. In research, the associate professor is expected to contribute to ongoing research projects as well as seek external funding for new projects and conduct research in close collaboration with partners within and outside KTH.
The associate professor is expected to teach in Swedish and English at first level, advanced level and postgraduate level within the subject field. This includes development of existing and new courses. The associate professor is also expected to supervise at advanced level and postgraduate level within the subject field. Administrative duties are also part of faculty work at the university.
