School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health at KTH

Job description

Professor Joakim Lundeberg's research group is looking for an ambitious and talented research engineer to perform spatial transcriptomics in our collaboration with human cell atlases, neurological diseases, and cancer. This position is particularly suitable for experimental activities with the possibility of using bioinformatics: The experimental work in the lab focuses on transcriptomics and other types of pioneering molecular and cellular phenotyping. Our research is focused on developing and exploring spatially resolved gene expression tools and their applications. Many of our projects are focused on building large-scale interdisciplinary molecular atlases, including human development, where we integrate spatial transcriptomics data with other technology platforms. We seek a research engineer/scientist to perform spatial transcriptomics to analyze various human tissues. The research engineer/ can also propose and pursue ideas that fit the laboratory's general research program (see https://www.spatialresearch.org/research-lundeberg-lab/).
