Research Engineer in air quality measurement rail traffic - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Job description

You will participate in field tests on underground train platforms regarding emissions from rail traffic. In the project, low-cost sensors will also be evaluated together with calibrated sensors. You will participate in static analyzes of measurement data and participate in uploading measurement data to project common databases. You will participate in an international collaboration project that is financed by the EU and the Swedish Transport Administration.

Qualifications

Requirements

• A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.
• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent in mechanical engineering, materials technology, energy technology and environment. Master's degree in environmental science or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

• Documented experience in measuring air quality and performing statistical analyzes of measurement data from air quality measurements. Experience of using low-cost sensors for air quality measurements is also advantageous.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
