Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
  • The applicant must have a PhD in a relevant scientific field such as biology, biomedicine, medicine, pathology or life sciences.
  • A creative and self-motivated personality with an interest in pushing the boundaries of basic cell biology and new techniques in pathology through innovative multiplex microscopy techniques.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is a must since it is needed in this work.

Preferred qualifications

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
  • The ideal candidate should have collaborative skills and be comfortable in interdisciplinary environments.
  • Experience in histology, pathology, mass spectrometry, microscopy bioinformatics and related techniques is beneficial.
  • Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality
